Senior Financial Advisor

Brian, a seasoned and knowledgeable Certified Financial Planner®, joined Richardson Financial Services, Inc. in 2003. He provides personalized financial planning and investment advisory services, develops, and executes near-term and retirement plans, implements risk management strategies, and coordinates estate planning.

Brian’s more than 20 years in the industry and experience through many cycles in the financial markets, affords Brian great credibility and instills confidence in our clients. He develops deep and lasting relationships with clients by engaging them in heartfelt dialogue to reach the core of what is important to them. In those collaborative discussions Brian facilitates the identification, prioritization, and quantification of the client’s unique financial goals, and then develops a strategic game plan aligned with those objectives.

Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Over the course of his career he earned and has maintained the designations of Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living. Prior to joining Richardson Financial Services, Brian founded and operated his own financial planning practice, and he managed and mentored early-career financial advisors.

Brian has always had a passion for teaching and coaching which led him to a position as a high school educator after college.  He was a founding member of Medway Youth Soccer and coached soccer at the High School and Collegiate levels. In his free time now, Brian coaches and plays competitive pickleball. Brian enjoys his home on Martha's Vineyard and takes pleasure in spending time with family and friends on the island.
