 Steven M. Richardson, CPA

Steve is the founder and President of Richardson Financial Services, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm. Steven is a Investment Advisor of Richardson Financial Services and a Registered Representative of First Allied Securities.  He is licensed to offer securities in Massachusetts and several other states.

He graduated from Bentley College with a degree in accounting and he is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Certified Public Accountant.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve serves on the Board of Directors of the Charles River Bank, OnProcess Technologies, Inc. and U.S Shale Solutions, Inc.where he serves on a number of committees. He serves as a corporator of the Milford Whitinsville Regional Hospital.

Married with four children, Steve is a member of the Finance Committee for his church, and is actively involved in civic organizations including coaching youth sports.

Under Steve’s direction, the Richardson Financial Services team provides full service Personal Financial Planning Services, including Wealth Accumulation, Education and Retirement and Estate Planning and Risk Management.

Brian Maxfield, CFP®, CLU, CASL

Brian has been a personal financial advisor since 1998 and a Certified Financial Planner since 2001.  Prior to joining Richardson Financial Services in 2003, Brian managed and mentored new advisors and operated his own Financial Planning practice Brian heads up the financial planning division at Richardson Financial Services.

Brian’s core competency is to engage in the financial planning process with his clients in order to identify, prioritize and quantify their financial goals, and then put a strategic game plan in place to make it more likely they will achieve those objectives.  He then works with his clients on an ongoing basis to track progress to goal achievement, to update the client’s changing personal and financial situation and to revise the game plan as necessary to reflect those changes.

Brian was graduated from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst. He has earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL). He is an investment Advisor of Richardson Financial Services and is a Registered Representative of First Allied Securities, Inc.

Brian is active in his church. He enjoys travel, reading, golf and spending time with family on Martha's Vineyard.

Brian Gray, Senior Financial Advisor

Brian is a Senior Financial Advisor at Richardson Financial Services, bringing over two decades of experience in the investment advisory / management business.   He has worked with both individuals and institutional investors, helping them work towards their investment objectives through asset allocation planning, portfolio structure & design, and investment manager selection.   Over the course of his career, Brian has worked with advanced investment products across asset classes. Prior to joining Richardson Financial Services, Brian worked at the Fund Evaluation Group (FEG), Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., Pelagos Capital Management, LLC, and State Street Global Advisors.

Brian holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and he graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Olin School at Babson College where he earned his MBA. He is an Investment Advisor of Richardson Financial Services and is a Registered Representative of First Allied Securities, Inc.

Brian is married with three boys.  He and his wife are active managing their busy family schedule while enjoying skiing, soccer and bicycling.  He is also a volunteer Board Member for the Medway Foundation for Education and a coach for Medway Youth Soccer.

Cynthia Coleman, Compliance and Client Service Specialist

Cynthia is our Compliance and Client Service Specialist for Richardson Financial Services. She is responsible for the regulatory and compliance operations of the business. In addition, Cynthia is responsible for processing and administering client requests, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Cynthia enjoys spending time with her son and extended family, and supporting the Cradles to Crayons charity. Cynthia also maintains her MA Real Estate License.

Lisa Johnson, Client Service Specialist

Lisa is our Client Service Specialist at RFS; she is responsible for establishing and maintaining systematic contact with our clients, scheduling client appointments, and updating and maintaining our client's personal financial websites.  Lisa also plans and manages our client events, .She has extensive client relationship experience, having run her own business as a Virtual Assistant.

Lisa is active in community service.  She is a member of the local Neighborhood Brigade and volunteers at the Medway Chapter of the Relay For Life.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
